Which weight should I enter?
For goods vehicles, use the design gross weight: the maximum permitted weight including its load, often shown on the manufacturer’s plate. It is not kerb weight. Three-wheelers use unladen weight. Ask the centre if you cannot confirm the right figure.
What about exemptions and specialist vehicles?
This tool identifies a usual test class, not whether a vehicle is exempt. Vehicle use, modifications, permits and registration details can affect the answer. Check official exemption guidance or discuss the vehicle with DVSA.
